Business/Functional Analyst Dutch/French 8 months Brussels
A company based in Brussels is currently looking for a Business/Functional Analyst specialize in the domain of electronic document Management who speaks Dutch and/or French and English.
Daily duties:
As a Business/Functional analyst you are in charge to gather the requirements, analyse the detailed functionality and follow-up test execution for its Electronic Document Management systems (Documentum and SharePoint)
Document business processes using a formalized notation
Produce a detailed Business Glossary and Business Rules
Elicit and understand business objectives (broad outcomes the business requires) and functional requirements (what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfil the business requirements)
Take initiatives for meetings with the business and be responsible for the follow up.
Produce functional system specifications that take into accounts strength and limitations of the client, document management systems (Documentum and SharePoint)
Create an Information Model including a.o. analysis of the relevant document types, metadata, states and access rights on basis of the outcome of the previous analysis phases
Produce & follow-up test scenarios on a functional level
Review functional system specifications of peers
Review business component interface specifications
Skills Required:
Knowledge of information architecture principles (information/documents classification, taxonomies, search, etc.)
Sound knowledge of the following modelling concepts:
Business process modelling
User stories
Use Cases
UI mock-ups
Information model
Sequence Diagrams
Sound functional knowledge of ECM and EDM tools (Documentum or SharePoint, preferably both)
Creativity needed to develop new solutions to old problems within a strict budgetary frame
Good written (English) and verbal (Dutch and French)
Package:
