Business/Financial Analyst Job

BUSINESS/FINANCE ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in East Hanover, NJ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- 3-5 years relevant Finance experience
- MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Financial planning and forecasting, analysis/reporting of monthly results and providing financial expertise to the operating units to support effective decision making and to facilitate increased efficiency
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial processes, systems and controls within the department and for the accurate completion of the month end close
- Evaluate risks or opportunities through financial analysis, providing recommendations to mitigate these risks
- Business Process Management and Control to ensure all financial processes are functioning effectively, including Req-to-Pay, study accruals, capital approval and tracking and headcount reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement more efficient business practices
- Apply appropriate accounting policies to financial transactions and ensure SOX compliance

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 3-5 years relevant Finance experience with demonstrated achievement in roles of increasing responsibility
- Results focus with the ability to work independently to meet targets and deadlines
- Excellent analytical capabilities required with consistent attention to details
- Position requires strong analytical, communication and organizational skills along with being a team player with a strong customer focus and a results driven attitude.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required with strong knowledge of SAP, TM1 and BW and working knowledge of ARIBA/SRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications abilities with capacity to clearly present and discuss financial issues at all levels of management and with non-finance partners
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting with MBA and/or CPA preferred

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Pharmaceutical/Healthcare/Medical Device experience preferred
- CPA preferred
