Business Engineer/Requirement Engineer

FOR OUR CLIENT A GLOBAL BANKING COMPANY LOCATED IN ZURICH, HARVEY NASH IS LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS ENGINEER/REQUIREMENT ENGINEER FOR A 7-MONTHS CONTRACT. Overview of business area or project:

- Output Management (OMS) domain on SBIP - covering client (and internal document)
- Strategic initiative in order to replace Legacy Output Management System is ongoing
- RFI phase has been concluded and vendors for next phase (RFP) has been selected
- RFP phase including POC (from April till Oct/Nov) to be launched

Overall required profile: CANDIDATE SHOULD BE A SENIOR BUSINESS AND REQUIREMENT ENGINEER, EXPERIENCED WITH RFI/RFP PROCESS AND ACCORDING ANALYSIS WITH INTERNAL BUSINESS AND IT STAKEHOLDER AS WELL AS WITH EXTERNAL PARTNERS (VENDORS/SUPPLIERS).Key Responsibilities

- Business Engineer/Requirement Engineer for the strategic OMS initiative/RFP Phase including POC
- Lead and contribution in key activities:
- Support Business in defining Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Derive Requirement List, Service Catalogue
- Define RFP questionnaire and according acceptance criteria
- Support definition of Target IT Model (TIM)
- Scoping Proof of Concept (POC)
- Test and evaluate POC result
- Contribute in RFP evaluation and selection process
- Support business case adjustments and budget request for integration project
- Support communication and stakeholder management

Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:

- Goal of the project phase is to choose the strategic OMS partner and enable/launch the subsequent integration project
- Derive Business and IT requirements from current OMS - but also consider future and strategic drivers

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

- DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
- ADDITIONAL DEGREE (EG CAS/MAS) IN BUSINESS ANALYSIS/REQUIREMENT ENGINEERING IS A PLUS
- BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN A TECHNICAL FIELD SUCH AS COMPUTER SCIENCE, COMPUTER ENGINEERING OR RELATED FIELD REQUIRED. MBA OR OTHER RELATED ADVANCED DEGREE PREFERRED
- 8-10 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

- Analysis of complex business domains (preferably infrastructure domains)
- Plan, manage and control business analysis having different stakeholders involved
- RFP process
- Define Operating Models (Software as a Service)
