For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a Business Engineer with OTC Products
Location: Zurich
Start date: Asap
Duration: 6 months
Languages: English
* Position as Business Engineer to define processing requirements for OTC products in the following areas:
Operations areas
Financial Accounting
Product Control
* Responsibility to provide SME expertise and BE services to client projects
* Main responsibility to analyze the business processes depending on the IT strategy, requests and priorities
* Possibility to develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships by partnering with business partners and internal IT stakeholders to achieve business and IT objectives
* Global exposure - dealing with Locations outside Switzerland
* Close collaboration and cooperation with Business, Project Managers, BA's, Developers, Testing and Support teams
* Take ownership for specific domains from the gathering of requirements, engineer, testing until go-live
* Contribute and support the testers during the test phases and manage accurate defect reports where necessary
* Several years of experience in business analyses and experience in international banking environments
* IT background and experience with iterative incremental software development is an advantage
* Good knowledge in the life cycle of the products and the complete End2End processing
* Ensure and coordinate the know-how transfers
* The opportunity to translate business request into technical specifications
* German knowledge is an advantage
* Degree or higher education in Information Technology and/or Business/Economics or equivalent
* Good knowledge of OTC Products and general Business know-how and some years of practical experience
* Knowledge of trading and Back Office systems in international banking environment
* Familiar with iterative development styles and fast turnaround in a tight team
* Strong communication skills and good language skills in English, German is nice to have
