Next Ventures is currently executing a search for a Technical Business Engineer/Analyst for a very exciting and innovative project that will offer external clients full portfolio optimization across an array of financial products. Please see project details below; Business Engineer Start: ASAP
Location: Switzerland Length: Initially 12 months with strong case for extension.
Language: English, German highly desired. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze business requirements (data sources, interfaces, business logic and processes) and work directly with business stakeholders, project managers, developers and other business customer to define the business requirements, objectives and specifications.
- Active involvement in solution finding within the project (close collaboration with business and IT and other customers/stakeholders)
- Support development team on application design, logic, architecture and testing
- Document business requirements and specifications as per firm standards
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Fast, precise and structured thinker.
- Good communication skills (written and verbally)
- 7+ years of experience in a IT business analyst/business engineer role in the financial industry.
- Experienced with the standard requirements elaboration and documentation techniques
- Technical skills highly desired (SQL, read and understand Java code, solid understanding of modern software engineering and architecture principles).
- Ability to think in models as well as practical skills in using UML.
- In depth banking know how (processes and financial products, FX, Equities, Structured Products, Derivatives)
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- In depth portfolio management know how. (CFA/AZEK big plus)
- Understands the common financial products
