BUSINESS ENGINEER

Our client, a major international bank, is currently looking for a BUSINESS ENGINEER

The Position as Business Engineer to define processing requirements for OTC products in the following areas:

Operations areas
-

Financial Accounting
-

Product Control
-

Responsibility to provide SME expertise and BE services to client projects
-

Main responsibility to analyze the business processes depending on the IT strategy, requests and priorities
-

Possibility to develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships by partnering with business partners and internal IT stakeholders to achieve business and IT objectives
-

Close collaboration and cooperation with Business, Project Managers, BA's, Developers, Testing and Support teams
-

Take ownership for specific domains from the gathering of requirements, engineer, testing until go-live
-

Contribute and support the testers during the test phases and manage accurate defect reports where necessary
-

Several years of experience in business analyses and experience in international banking environments
-

IT background and experience with iterative incremental software development is an advantage
-

Good knowledge in the life cycle of the products and the complete End2End processing
-

Ensure and coordinate the know-how transfers
-

The opportunity to translate business request into technical specifications
-

German knowledge is an advantage

REQUIRED SKILLS:

-

Degree or higher education in Information Technology and/or Business/Economics or equivalent
-

Good knowledge of OTC Products and general Business know-how and some years of practical experience
-

Knowledge of trading and Back Office systems in international banking environment
-

Familiar with iterative development styles and fast turnaround in a tight team
-

Strong communication skills and good language skills in English and German
-

Drive for high quality and working with other internationally oriented organizational units to achieve common goal
