Business Development Mgr - Rail - Rolling Stock

A fantastic opportunity that has recently arisen for a skilled rail industry Business Development Manager to grow sales for a growing Rail Engineering Consultancy Services organisation. An international organisation with a strong European presence that are seeking to increase their UK market share.

The successful candidate will be skilled in developing new business within the UK Rail industry. Ideally in rolling stock and with good contact with train operators. This is an great opportunity to work for a company who are targeting significant growth. As the business grows it will lead to further career opportunities for the right individual.

Initially upon joining the company you will be required to spend a significant amount of time in their offices in the Surrey area. Once you have learned the business and are up and running you will only need to be in the office around once a week you would be expected to be out meeting clients and trying to develop business the majority of the time. For this reason the location can be flexible and there is the option for home working for the right individual.

You will need to have an engineering background, ideally engineering qualifications to be considered.

You must know the UK market and be experienced in developing new business within the UK rail industry. Non UK applicant need not apply!

For the right candidate the salary is negotiable but the range is £45k - £55k basic + bonus + car + benefits.
