Our client is a very successful accounting and tax consultancy, offering a variety of services within this and other closely related remits.
The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for developing existing commercial relationships and bringing in new alliances by developing and maintaining a network of prospective partners and translating those prospective partners into revenue generators.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of international accounting and tax, probably qualified, non-practising, CPA/ACCA/ACA accountant. A three year minimum of relevant work experience in a commercial experience would be ideal, but we can consider less if demonstrable results are forthcoming.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager role is varies and will cover activity in a number of areas. Applicants will have the full job spec on interview, but key areas include:
- Develop new and existing Strategic Alliance Partners.
- Manage the contact to contract sales process efficiently and effectively
- Working with service lines and other key stakeholders to develop solution architecture
- Keep track of new business developments, anticipate changes in the market and translate this into opportunities for the business.
- Develop sales plans
- Lead deals
