Business Development Manager - Software to Higher Education

Business Development Manager - Software Sales to the Education sector, £35,000 - £45,000 (£90,000 OTE),Midlands(remote working).

My client are a specialist provider of bespoke CRM Software Solutions to the Higher and Further Education sectors. They have strong relationships with a number of universities but are looking to bring on a Business Development Manager to help achieve increased revenue targets in 2013.

They are looking to bring on a Business development Manager to generate new revenue streams from new business accounts through a range of methods including cold calling, marketing and own contacts to generate opportunities, and then meeting with them and further building relationships through to closing new business deals. The role will be 80% meeting with clients on client site and 20% working at the office (1/2 days a week).

The successful Business Development Manager should experience in: -

- Selling Software Solutions (preferably CRM software but any management, accounting, workforce software with similar properties would be accepted.
- Have proven evidence of being a Higher Education with numerous contacts they have dealt with in this market
- Evidence of over achieving sales targets in this sector.
- Experience and strong understanding of Tendor writing
