Business Development Manager - New Sales, Solution Sales - London/UK Wide

A highly experienced new business, sales professional is needed by a division of a renowned UK brand to take on an exciting opportunity in helping them open up new sales channels and relationships, by taking a proactive solution sales approach with their products.

Our client is open to market sector experience, but with a definite interest in building a customer base in the infrastructure arena, so candidates with contacts and experience of selling high tech business services and IT solutions into areas such as the below will be of primary interest.
-Energy/Utilities
-Communications
-Transport
-Construction

To be suitable for this Business Development position you will need to have a weight of experience of prospecting, selling, presenting and closing business at mid to senior management level contacts; with the relationship skills to maintain the ongoing client relationship through delivery and implementation.

This role will be suitable for a 'hunter' focused sales professional, who can display evidence of building a revenue pipeline through solution selling. This will involve showing the ability to understand a customer's business needs and objectives and be able to consultant and pull together a tailored business solution to meet this need.

This is likely to be an initial 12 month fixed term assignment, but with prospect of longer term work.

Salary is likely to be £45,000 + OTE of £75,000 + excellent benefits.
