Business Development Manager - Logistics - London - 6 months to £380 day

Global online retailer is looking for a Business Development Manager to be responsible for the execution of the international shipping strategy, bringing to market the solution devised and working closely with their Account Management and Cross-Border Trade teams to drive adoption amongst their seller base. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities, and working closely with the Shipping BU to improve the value proposition of their services. Cross-border trade is becoming increasingly important in the E-commerce sphere, and the client is committed to designing and implementing shipping solutions that can increase international sales for their seller base by focusing on quality of service, cost-effectiveness and ease of access.

The primary responsibilities of the BD manager are:
Program Management: general ownership of the international shipping proposition, working closely with the outreach teams, marketing, customers service and partners to land the business targets
Partnership Management: maintaining day-to-day relationships with the carriers and the provider of the shipping platform.
Analytic/Analysis: Analyzing sellers' performance, creating and assessing volume targets.
Business Acumen: good understanding of marketing levers and value selling.
