An excellent opportunity has arisen working for a Major Financial Organisation of ours for a Business Development Manager.

The role will require individuals to develop and execute an account focused business plan which maximises long term profits, value and growth opportunities from their major employer contacts and their paralleled professional advisers.

Required to achieve a new business sales plan by the acquisition of new clients via their direct relationships with public and private sector clients and through their panelled professional advisers.
New clients must be secured on both price and transactional terms that are deemed as profitable and sustainable.

The role holder will be the lynch-pin of a multi-disciplinary team sourced from various areas within the Prudential's UK business and as such will be responsible for developing a business case and appraising the viability of new business opportunities as they arise.
*AFPC, ACII, APMI or other relevant professional qualifications preferred.
*In depth knowledge of the Defined Contribution market - both occupational and GPP, including good awareness of leading providers and major consultancies.
*Broad appreciation of the overall Compensation marketplace, including Defined Benefit, Bulk Annuities and other employee benefits.
*Good level of understanding, comfort and fluency with the concepts and practice of E-commerce trading in the context of the large corporate markets.
