Their market is across a large and diverse client base in financial services, including retail and institutional brokerage firms, global banks, mutual funds, annuity companies, institutional investors, specialty trading firms, clearing firms and corporate issuers.
The role will be focused on identifying new business opportunities and getting in-front of decision makers. You will be mapping your market from an existing network or from an understanding of the Financial Services sector as well as leveraging off of existing client relationships.
Opportunities to grow the team and develop into a manager are possible, also global opportunities exist down the track, so this is for someone looking for a career in strategic sales with a hunter, high-achiever work ethic - this role may suit someone who is looking to step-up from their current role or who has extensive experience in the Financial Markets sector.
To be successful in this role you will need to following characteristics and experience:
- Familiarity with Financial Services operations/technology/products
- Sales within this sector of coming from a Financial Services background with recent business to business sales experience
- Strong business development experience
- Ability to understand key business drivers through knowledge of the target client or their business/industry sector
- A consultative attitude, you ask the right questions to identify drivers and sell appropriately using the product suite available
- Demonstrable experience of converting key clients
