Business Development Manager

Our client, a global leader in industrial technology based in Zurich, is looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to support interesting projects that will shape their digital future.

In this role you will support their global IBM partnership, some emerging partners as well as interacting as the BUSINESS MANAGER to the Head of Digital Partnerships.

This is a contracting role based in Zurich and planned to start in July until end of the year.

TASKS:

Work closely with the Head of Digital Partnerships to advance the Digital partner program, establish KPI reporting for the whole team and the respective partners, and support the creation of key deliverables (mostly presentations and reports)

Responsibilities for the IBM digital partnership include:
-

Project manage the key work streams (program management/partnership governance, architecture integration, solution development, Joint Marketing, and Joint Sales)

Work closely with the Partner's Key Stakeholders - specifically the program manager
-

Track the key partner KPI's and operate the governance model including monthly/quarterly reports out. Provide partner budget tracking and reporting

Document major Achievements and Milestones
-

Maintain & update a list of joint sales activities (KPI's, Volume, projects, etc.)
-

Collaborate with the Ability Digitalization team on ensuring the solution pipeline per partner is up to date

Support the Ability Marketing Team before, during and after key projects such as solutions launches, events and PR activities

IDEAL PROFILE:

-

Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines

Fluency in English required (C1) written and verbal
-

Strong communication skills
-

Deep cross-team collaboration skills
-

Structured and systematic way of working, a competent project manager
-

Expert in MS Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint)

A skilled Entrepreneur-style candidate with a demand to get things done
