Business Development Manager

Requirements: 1 Generate new business and support existing accounts. Penetrate client structures and access key decision makers. Make contact with each company within any given procurement structure, including Operator, EPIC contractor, and Consultant 2 Assistance with the preparation of quotations from collation of necessary information through to typing and/or reviewing the typed offer 3 Produce reports of contact activity, enquiry/quote status and be involved in development of budgets 4 Liaise effectively with the Design, Manufacturing, Scheduling and Quality departments to provide high quality information to assist the bidding effort. Understand specific client needs and ensure departments are responding appropriately 5 Liaise closely with the specific project teams within the client base for each opportunity in areas such as, Engineering, Procurement, Contracts and Quality assurance. Encourage and assist client visits to sites 6 Initiate and develop sales drives within the Oil & Gas market. Assist with forecasting and market assessment 7 Attend conferences / exhibitions as necessary 8 In addition to these duties employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required Knowledge, skills & experience required: * Good understanding of subsea umbilicals and subsea power cables. * 5 years experience of the Oil & Gas market. * Clean and comprehensive driving licence * Engineering or Commercial Degree or equivalent competence gained through experience Competencies required: (Core of Customer Focus, Deliver on Promises, Promote Teamwork, Credible & Trusted Professional, Creativity and Innovation, Continuous Improvement) Plus: * Influence others * Planning, organising & priority setting * Drive Change * Communicating Openly & Well Dimensions (Relevant annual financial data, ie assets managed, budget, sales, salary cost and total number of employees supervised) * Responsible for Europe including but not limited toUK,Norway,Holland,Denmark,France&Italy * Role will be based inAberdeenwith extensive travel to visit customers and other locations globally.
