_BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR._

£18,650- £19,533 + 10% Bonus (Subject to performance) 37 Hours 52 Weeks. FTC until 2nd October 2015.

Selby College are seeking to appoint a Business Development Advisor to proactively seek new business opportunities for the College, converting leads to sales and establishing and maintaining relationships with existing companies and stakeholders. The role will consist of communicating new product developments for Business Services and the wider College.

This role requires previous experience of developing business opportunities and working to targets, preferably within a customer service or sales role. A good knowledge of management and development of a long term customer base is essential. The ability to negotiate and influence, and resilience are key personal attributes required to be successful in this role.

_All work in the College involves some degree of responsibility for safeguarding children, although the extent of that responsibility will vary according to the nature of the role._
