Business Design Authority Lead

The Company

Robert Half Interim Management Resources are working with a UK national Utilities brand to appoint an experienced B2B Change Project Manager for an immediate start interim contract.

The Role

The principal accountability of this role is to ensure the speed and integrity of business design decisions for B2B Gas Replacement within the I&C and SME Business Segments, ensuring the principle of adherence to out of the box functionality. Working across B2B net margin optimisation, sales, energy solutions and customer service functions, the post holder will establish and manage a Business Design Authority for the B2B Gas Replacement programme, comprising both business and technical experts, with the intention that the remit of this Authority will eventually cover the complete B2B portfolio. The post holder will define and agree the role of the Business Design Authority within the overarching governance framework for B2B Change, establishing the supporting processes, procedures and information feeds. Always maintaining a strategic viewpoint, the Business Design Authority will assist senior stakeholders to define and assure the future B2B Gas operating model including any deviation from standard business processes integral to the solution, interfacing, data quality, product and propositions, customer experience, regulatory compliance, people and organisation. You will develop, agree and establish the B2B Gas Design Principles with Senior Stakeholders to design, establish and manage the governance framework for the B2B Business Design Authority In conjunction with the Business PMO, put in place and manage the Business Change Framework for B2B Gas. To contribute to the processes through analysis and challenge of changes and business cases. To ensure consistency. Responsible for laying the foundations to enable the forecasting and management of risks and issues associated with change or major industry initiatives and potential impact on EBITDA. Their management of these risks will be by way of the identification of risks, the identification of owners and business stakeholders and the challenge of these risks to ensure consistency and completeness. Build an ongoing relationship with other programmes, projects and change initiatives, establishing agreed processes and procedures for the identification and management of cross programme/project dependencies and laying the foundation for a common approach to business design changes.You will manage a complex Matrix of stakeholders in order to ensure that effective decisions can be taken within the Design Authority framework. This will include stakeholders across the organisation, including Senior Managers and members of the Exec. The governance framework which will be implemented and managed by this individual will however be significant, circa £20 million.

Salary & Benefits

Working on a daily rate basis, you can expect between £250 and £300 a day for a minimum of between 6 and 9 month project. This role is looking for an immediate start
