PROJECT: We are looking for passionate Data Analysts to support the creation of a new Commercial Analytics platform. This is an 18 month program spanning the following capability areas: Strategic sales reporting, Pricing & contract analysis, Account Segmentation (GTM), Distributor sales, Tender analytics, Ad-hoc sales analysis, Self-service analytics, Compensation reporting, Market & customer insights, Competitive insights, Executive dashboards (mobile), SFE analytics & field sales reporting (mobile)

Role:
-Requirements analysis relating to Data & Analytics
-Data integration between regional platforms
-Front End analytics capabilities ie reports, dashboards, ad-hoc, self-service.
-Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full life cycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
-There is a travel of 25%-30%.

Responsibilities:
-Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
-Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
-Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
-Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
-Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
-Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Skills & Experience:
-3-5 years proven track record as a data analyst
-Experience in Data architecture ie technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
-Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
-Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings to Senior Management.

Education:
-BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
