Business/Data Analyst

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

An experienced Data Analyst who can acquire, assure, analyse and present data so that it becomes information that benefits members and other IPC participants. This role will require timely production of analyses/reports for multiple stakeholders.

Additionally, the Data Analyst will be required to develop a Quality Certification process within the eCIP Tracking project.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Conducting analysis of complex data sets
- Responsible for the efficient maintenance of data, managing a suite of reports and ensuring they are actioned on time
- Set up reporting and dashboards for E-commerce customers
- Set up and run optimization tests and make recommendations
- Deliver effective presentations of results

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:

- Ideally a university degree with quantitative/logical content
- Excellent written and spoken English. Other language(s) would be beneficial.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of communication and influencing skills.
- A high level of IT literacy
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Data mining (ideally SQL)
- Clear analytical thinking
- Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation

DESIRABLE QUALITIES:

- At least two years in an analytical role in an international business environment, and a demonstrable capacity to mount analytical projects from scratch.
- Ideally experience with either postal or logistics organisations.
