Business Data Analyst

As you launch your career as a BUSINESS ANALYST, you will focus on improving the success of third-party sellers on our client's platform. You will analyze sellers' data, discover and solve real world problems and build metrics and business cases to improve sales. You will have the opportunity to work for one of the following groups: Fulfillment, Marketplace, Sales or Seller Support. We are focused on your success and want to build future leaders. You can expect a mixture of on-the-job training supplemented with focused skills development and formalized training.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

- Retrieval and aggregation of data from multiple sources and compile into a digestible and actionable format
- Monitoring existent metrics, analysing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
- Design and development of automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
- Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation
- Driving small to medium Seller experience enhancement projects

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience using Advance SQL in a professional setting, querying extremely large datasets from multiple sources and developing reports
- Experience with Excel, analysing data and creating daily/weekly/monthly reports, including knowledge of v-lookups and graphs

- Top-tier academic performance at the undergraduate level
- Majors: Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Symbolic Systems Strong analytical skills and analytical curiosity
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Ability to break down and solve complex problems in a high-energy, fast paced environment
- Good organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
- Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Advanced knowledge of SQL

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
