Business Continuity Officer

I am urgently looking for a Business Continuity officer for my client.

My client is a well known company in the banking industry.

The Business Continuity Officer provides support to the Business Continuity Manager/Line management.

Activity description:

- Management and coordination of the development of business continuity plans (BCP) including disaster recovery for IT services and business recovery for staff and call centers.
- Identification of business continuity requirements, strategies and solutions to ensure recovery of critical IT services and activities.
- Identification of risks to business continuity, mitigation actions and implementation follow-up.
- Management and coordination of the crisis management and communication plans.
- Management and coordination of the annual business continuity test plan to ensure all BCP plans, solutions and arrangements are operational and kept up-to-date.
- Maintain the documentation framework and keep it up-to-date and available.
- Develop and maintain the training and awareness program for business continuity.
- Maintain supporting material for the BCMS such as Intranet pages, booklets, presentations
- Manage business continuity for international dependencies and liaise with business continuity managers in other countries.
- Maintain BCMS process documentation and reporting.
- Assist the Head of OCP with business continuity projects, reporting, compliance work and administration.
- Identify improvements opportunities to the BCMS and pro-actively propose improvements.

Skills:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English or Dutch and English
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Highly structured and organized, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Autonomous and proactive.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Certifications in ITIL, project management, BCM are preferred.
- Good understanding of IT (applications, networks, infrastructure).
