Job Title: Business Continuity Manager/Lead
Location: Scotstoun
Contract Length: 8 Months
Contract Rate: £39 an hour

This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading defence companies on an 8 Month Contract.

The purpose of the role is to have responsibility for creating the Business Continuity, incident management and emergency responses policies and procedures to inform the Supply Chain Business Continuity Strategy. They will also be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the strategy across the business. You will be responsible for driving creation and on-going management of Business Continuity Plans, Coaching and developing Supply Chain staff acting as the Subject Matter Expert in Business Continuity/Business Interruption and to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience required for this role:
-Degree qualified or industry equivalent experience
-BCI Certified or equivalent
-Professional Risk Management qualification desirable
-Working understanding of tool sets and IT
-Detailed approach to data management and analysis
-Pro-active self-motivated
-Establish and build good working relationships with key stakeholders
-Facilitation skills
-Ability to communicate at peer and management levels, internally and externally
-Strong communicator, able to effectively influence outside the team
