Business Continuity Manager - DR - Bristol/Bath

Computer Futures are seeking a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Manager to work for a market leading client based in the Bristol area.

You will develop the Disaster Recovery plans and maintain the Business Continuity System while identifying gaps in the process.

Essential Skills:

- Extensive Business continuity management experience
- Extensive Disaster recovery experience
- Extensive IT Service continuity experience
- Experience of testing critical, high-availability services
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Broad technology understanding
- Familiarity with BS 25999 and ISO 22301

My client is a leading technology services company who offer hosting services, complete outsourcing solutions, infrastructure services and numerous other business services. They are currently seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Manager to work within a small team that supports the business strategy and meets customer contractual obligations.

Role requirements:

- Develop and maintain DR plans
- Manage DR testing; Chair DR test governance meetings and drive the governance process, develop & maintain DR test plans, maintain control and protect the live service at all times.
- Ensure DR test objectives are met, maintain a record of events and issues throughout, write post-test reports, agree and manage post-test actions
- Identify gaps in DR plan, recommend improvements
- Maintain Business Continuity management system, plans and records
- Identify gaps in BC capability

This position is paying up to £55,000 and comes with an excellent benifits package that includes a Bonus and Healthcare.
