Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Expert for Multinational Ins

WE ARE LOOKING FOR BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND DISASTER RECOVERY EXPERT TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN VIENNA/AUSTRIA.

TASKS:

The project is managed by a project manager with support of the Project Management Team (PMT) using the PRINCE2 framework. The feature teams are organized in line with the SCRUM software development framework.

One key aspect of this project is to plan and implement the business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) of IT systems.

The consultant shall be responsible for formulation of the BCDR plan with active participation of staff members as a team.

The consultant shall cooperate with the team members and management to ensure that

- The BCDR plan contains all the related information needed;
- The implementation of the BCDR plan is feasible and support Safeguards business continuity ad disaster recovery effectively.

The consultant shall take the role of the management of the BCDR implementation, coordinating implementation related activities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

- The consultant shall have Bachelor's degree or above in the field of IT sciences.
- The consultant shall have minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of business continuity and disaster recovery planning and at least 2 years of practical experience as risk manager in large project organisation.
- The Consultant shall have at least three (3) years of experience in management of BCDR implementation projects.
- Experience in Prince 2 and SCRUM frameworks.
- Very good in English.
