WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Business Consultant electronic Work Permit
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our client has initiated a project to standardize its existing paper based work permit system at all upstream, Industrial and downstream operations with an electronic work permit system (eWP). The scope of the work permit system shall include the Work Permit document, requirements for Lock Out and Tag Out, risk assessment and Safe Job analysis.
The process used is already documented in a an Operational Standard, which will serve as the basis for requirement specification.
The first phase towards implementation of a eWP system is to assess and document the business requirements for an eWP system, to create an RFP to request proposals from candidate tool vendors, to create a vendor short list based on received proposals and to document a cost estimate for the implementation project.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide advice on the electronic work permit process and tools.
- Provide input about technical requirements for implementation of such an IT solution.
- Collect, Assess and document the business requirements and translate these into an RFP document to send out to candidate tool vendors to request a solution proposal.
PERSONAL SKILLS
- Strong communication, meeting facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business and IT organization.
- Strong requirements gathering, analytical and writing skills.
