Business Consultant

Implement Business Planning and Performance Monitoring systems and programs. With the sites and functional area departments, establish multi-year business objectives and performance indicators utilizing Strategic Goals. Participate in fleet-wide initiatives on process improvement. Participate in the long range planning, budgeting, and financial reporting processes. Participate in the evaluation, prioritization, and authorization of projects.

JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for the coordination, quality and effectiveness of the processes used to implement the business plans, performance reporting, project prioritization, and financial inputs into the overall Business Planning, Financial, and Performance Reporting programs.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Administer the Performance Indicator program. Coordinate and lead monthly PI data roll-up. Perform monthly reviews for cross-functional consistency.
2. Support the multi-year business planning processes. Identify business factors, goals, standards, industry benchmarks, and performance criteria. Communicate goals and performance criteria to Senior Management, and departmental representatives. Develop and utilize tools to evaluate the effectiveness.
3. Administer the development of the strategic tier performance goals. Communicate and coordinate PI requirements and updates. Assist sites and functional areas with multi-year PI metric understanding and development.
4. Participates/supports financial functions including: long range plan, budgeting, site income statements, and financial reporting processes.

SKILLS:

- B.S./B.A. Degree in a business related field with 5+ years business related experience.
- Effective analytical skills, combined with effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Business Operations & industry practices.
- Thorough computer based analytical skills (eg, Access, Excel based analysis)
