BUSINESS CHANGE SPECIALIS T - BRAND NEW LONG TERM PROJECT

THE ROLE

A new programme of work is starting at our major corporate client and they are looking for a Business Change Specialist to support the delivery of all business change activities for projects which have significant change, impacting one or more areas of the business.

You will be expected to provide day-to-day management of the Business Change Analysts and Junior Analysts to enable the successful implementation of transformation projects. To ensure business change activities and deliverables are consistently applied and add value to programmes and projects. To support the Business Change Manager to develop and deliver the business change approach, tools and templates.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

-Lead, guide and mentor Business Change Analysts on business change deliverables.
-

Own, plan, develop and deliver successful business change deliverables and activities to ensure the successful delivery of a specified project.
-

Think strategically, taking into account business-as-usual activities, other change projects that impact the same teams and the overall vision when planning and developing interventions.

Measure the effectiveness of business change interventions, implementing improvements where appropriate.

Identify, manage and maintain business change risks and issues including where they may have impacts wider than on the project and accurately report the status of project activities to the Business Change Manager.

Manage people efficiently, requesting appropriate resource to support delivery and ensure adequate workloads.
-

Challenge project management on Business Change needs.
-

Work with third party suppliers.
-

Challenge existing approaches through the identification of new, innovative concepts to enrich the content of business change deliverables. - Contribute to business change go/no go decision making.

WHAT SKILLS ARE KEY?

To be considered for this role you will have at least three years' current experience working in change management, with deep knowledge of the specific Business Change discipline.

Understanding of all Business Change disciplines (organisational design, education and training, communication and engagement, business readiness).
-

Understanding of key business change concepts.
-

Able to confidently chair/facilitate meetings and plan/deliver workshops.
-

Extremely organised, with the ability to work on multiple activities with tight timescales.
-

Excellent planning and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
-

High levels of drive and enthusiasm as a Business Change professional, with the ability to think strategically.
