BUSINESS CHANGE PROJECT MANAGER - FINANCIAL SERVICES

THE ROLE

This is an opportunity for a Business Change Project Manager to deliver business critical and complex change projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for end to end delivery and will work on projects across the business.

THE CANDIDATE

- Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring planning, resource allocation and budgetary constraints are adhered to.
- Management of external resources and ensuring accurate requirement gathering and reporting into the PMO's project methodology and standards.
- Leads and chairs project meetings with senior management and ensures that all timelines are adhered to and that all issues, risks and slippages are addressed.
- Monitors project status and ensures that projects meet the appropriate stage gates as set by the PMO process.
- Produces and owns the Project Initiation Document, maintaining it throughout the life cycle of a project.
- Responsible for the risk log and updating and maintaining its accuracy throughout project life cycle.
- Ensure projects run to within agreed tolerances and tolerance exceptions are reported promptly to the PMO Board.
- Regular project reporting both to the PMO and to key Business and IT stakeholders.
- Manages, responds and copes effectively with project change due to dependencies both inbound and outbound.
- Mentors and supports junior members of staff where appropriate.
