Business Change Manager

A Business Change Manager is required for a Central Government Department to help identify and manage the necessary changes to the current business processes. Knowledge of Oracle and HR Self-Service would be an advantage, as would experience of working with government departments.

The Business Change Manager will deliver a major Enterprise Implementation (Oracle HR/Finance) across all business areas. The Business Change Manager will work with senior leaders within the organisation to plan and execute fundamental business changes. By taking a hands-on, pragmatic approach the Business Change Manager will help define solutions, overcome the barriers to change and take others with you as you make it happen.

Working in a team environment the Business Change Manager will champion service excellence, working with and coaching other delivery areas including IT, HR and communications to improve project/change governance.

The suitable Business Change Manager must have strong previous experience managing and leading business transformation projects and the previous experience and ability to determine the priority HR, Finance and Procurement processes to map (for day 1 functionality) based on:

The likely size of business change involved
The level of efficiency gain that process re-engineering might provide (assuming SOP will allow for such re-engineering)
Other relevant factors

Determine what will be involved in transitioning from as is to to be and the business change implications and identify the risks and opportunities as well as a business change strategy (including communications strategy and identifying where training is required) to minimise disruption and maximise the benefits that can be realised from the transition.
