Job title: Business Change Lead - Strategic Billing

Our financial services client is seeking a Business Change Lead with Billing experience to lead a team of four in overseeing business change implementation and developing a Target Operating Model.

Key accountabilities:

- To be accountable for delivery of all business change activities, such as training, communications, HR engagement as well as oversee and manage technical implementation activity.
- To build the High Level and Detailed Target Operating Model for the Strategic Billing programme, in parallel to the Detailed Technical Design, working with the appointed Technical Architect/Design Lead.
- For the TOM work, build a consensus vision and validate agreed operating principles working closely with key stakeholders for the work (Billing Operations, Servicing, Coverage, Product), embedding this vision within the Model and holding workshops/review meetings as appropriate.
- For the TOM work, challenge existing processes and ways of working as far as possible to create an optimised TOM that drives efficiency and effectiveness as well as meeting the existing signed off functional and non functional requirements.
- Produce a high quality well written and structured TOM deliverable (high level/detailed) that fully articulates and documents the future strategic end state for UK Billing, the high level operating model, as well as all detailed end to end processes (SIPOC format).
- Work closely with the UK Technology Design Workstream and the business, ensuring all three areas are aligned, and mapping key interfaces with the Technology Design.

Competencies:

- Experience of P2P/Billing
- Stakeholder Management & consultancy skills
- Strong Team Leading skills, esp. in Business Process Design context
- Self starter, able to work to self imposed deadlines, and able to present back confidently findings to Project and Programme Managers, team, key stakeholders etc
- Project Management
- Control Environment: Including Risk Management
- Personal & Interpersonal Skills: Including Communication & Influence

Essential:

- Experience of building out an optimised end to end Business Architectural Model for one or more Global Organisations, liaising with an executive level stakeholder base, ideally in the Change function of a Financial Services sector
- Experience of P2P
- Demonstrable track record of successful delivery on 1 or more major change programmes, leading a Business Change and/or Process Design work stream

Preferred:

- Educated to Degree level or can demonstrate equivalent experience
- Project Management methods, disciplines and the life cycle
- Experience of working in a complex financial services environment
- Formal external qualification/accreditation in business process analysis discipline
