For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Business Architect GFS.

Description Business Architect GFS (QR3980) :
The job of an architect is to develop, advise on and implement the architecture policy, standards and/or the strategy of GFS. He translates purpose of finance advisory business requirements and locations HO Finance stakeholders on specific architectural designs and/or references for systems, applications and/or processes, thereby ensuring a good balance between cost and quality. Architects provide optimal alignment of the architecture with the business. The Business Architect supports the implementation of projects and validate the proposed solution. The Business Architect shapes the strategy by influencing the priority change initiatives based on what is possible from the perspective of business and technology. He leads architectural projects that are assigned to him in such a manner that the agreed results are achieved. He bridges the gap between IT and business by supporting the organization with documenting its operational organization design based on sound principles and standards. He works closely with the GFS organization and Process Owner Accounting and Financial Reporting.

Your tasks will be Business Architect GFS (QR3980) :
- Understand the needs of GFS, Finance Advisory and Finance stakeholders, mapping the requirements and translating these requirements into designs for solution or process reference architectures (FOAP) targets and roadmaps that support the organizational strategy.
- Collect data, analyze the GFS architecture environment and develop a vision for the necessary 4Sight architecture (help), thereby anticipating future trends and innovations in the areas of customers, the financial sector and information technology.
- Advice GFS on how to determine, build and design the solutions or Reference Architecture Targets (FOAP) and roadmaps, taking the impact on all stakeholders into account.
- Translate the requirements into designs which are cost effective and in line with the reference architecture (eg framework, methods, approaches, guidelines, models, etc.) with clear objectives and deliverables.
- Defining the demarcations with other domains and monitor these based on the reference architecture
- To ensure a successful implementation of the proposed solution (or process reference architecture) and present the outcome and foundation of the solution
- Define the impact of the requirements on the organization and by investigating the needs of the GFS organization.
- Determine the foundation and the limitations of the proposed solutions or roadmaps
- Identify, document and control the risks and issues related to the future architecture (both solution Reference, Targets and Roadmaps) identify, document and control.
- Acting as a sparring partner and discuss and form alliances with various stakeholders (WB TOM, 4Sight) in order to agree on targets and solutions.
- Define and maintain methodologies and tools to be used (such as ARIS).
- Track market trends and translate these to the reference architecture
- Set up and maintain architecture standards and reuse of approved policies and other documentation
- Coaching and guide colleagues in the use of methodologies, tools, and standards.
- Supervise architectural teams and ensure that the results are achieved.
- Validate the design of the proposed solution(s) with respect to the reference architecture and the impact on the various stakeholders. Ensure appropriate after care after implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Define, together with suppliers, requirements for future implementations
- Managing the strategic developments with supplier.

Your profile Business Architect GFS (QR3980) :
- A university degree in relevant IT, Finance or (business) Economy accreditation.
- At least five to seven years of relevant working experience, preferably in banking.
- A Black Belt / Lean degree and proven experience in this field.
- Perfect problem analysis and judgment skills are essential for this role. Next to this also vision is an important skill for this role.
- Architects who have organizational sensitivity are successful in their function.
- The business architect should understand the informal structures and work with these.
- The architect should show persuasiveness and should be able to align with the interests and/or communication levels of interlocutors.
- He has the ability to use arguments that appeal to the interlocutor, and knows how to bring this and at the right time.
- He is able to identify any resistance, and redirect this.
- The architect must have a certain degree of determination without being rigid.
