Mission description

The program 'PRIME' builds a harmonised and integrated system for the Prudential Supervision departments.

It sets up a new solid architecture and built an integrated and modular system to support the NBB prudential supervision processes.
A first set of projects have been delivered systems and tools for the collect, analysis of quantitative and qualitative data needed for the Financial and governance risk analysis.

A strategic plan 2014-2018 has defined new products and horizontal functions needed.

The role of the business architect is to work closely with the PRIME architecture team and the business analysts to define how the projects will support the goals of this strategic plan.

- He/she applies a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of a business unit

or a transversal end to end process and delivering the business architecture deliverables. - Together with the core team he/she will define and customise a structured approach to deliver business architecture.
- He/she define the link between business architecture and It architecture in collaboration with the It architects.
- He/she analyses and suggests improvement to the business processes to support the strategic goals
- He/she describes the as-is and the to-be processes, identifies and prepares the change from the 'AS IS' to the 'TO BE' situation.
- He/she defines the data flows/elements shared between different processes and the relationships between these data and processes, systems
- He/she participates to the definition of the TO-BE solution architecture.

Business architecture approach and methodology, process models showing how operations and systems interoperate, Architecture standards and principles, business modeling method
High Level and Detailed Business architecture document
Languages English is mandatory, formal operation (reporting, documentation) will be in English, written and verbal communication will be in French and/or Dutch.

- Experiences in the application of architectural principles, methods and tools
- Knowledge and experience in business processes analysis, modeling and design
- Ability to create high level models that can be extended
- Proven knowledge and skills on process decomposition
- Knowledge in project management
- Knowledge in Archimate language
- Experience in process modeling with Aris tool
- Experience in the elaboration of the instructional and procedural documentation and presentations

Education & experience

- At least 5 years' experience in Business architecture
- At least 3 years' experience in Information architecture
- At least 5 years' experience in business processes analysis, modeling and design
- University degree

Offer

Working hours: 5 days from Monday until Friday (7h36 per day)

Duration: 18 months, with the option to stop the contract each 3 months, with one months' notice

Mission start date 3/10/2016
