Business/Application Support Analyst

Business Support Analyst/Application Support Analyst/Support Analyst.
Unix and Oracle SQL experience.
6 month maternity cover based in Dublin.
* Resolve incidents in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
* Provide second and third level support of the BSCS application (not mandatory to have worked with this system) application including fixing bugs, fixing processes when they falter/stop, clearing traffic queues and supporting interfaces.
* Execute and provide support for the business processes including billing, payments, vouchers and sim orders.
* Provide written or verbal work instructions.
* Provide clear and professional communication with customer services team.
* Troubleshoot high priority issues in a logical way following proven methodologies/best practise.
Requirements
* 5 years work experience in IT Industry.
* 3 years work experience in applications/business support.
* 1 years work experience in BSCS is desirable.
* Self motivating and able to prioritize tasks.
* Working knowledge in Unix environment and Oracle SQL is mandatory.
Highly desirable requirements include:
1. Experience of supporting a number of BSCS modules. In particular the ideal candidate should have good experience of working in rating (including CCH) & billing.
2. Some experience/knowledge of supporting CMS.
3. Good working knowledge of the BSCS DB (table structures, table relationships, etc), interfaces, SQL & PL/SQL.
4. Good understanding of BSCS architecture.
5. Knowledge in Oracle, Weblogic, Apache and Unix Scripting is an advantage.
