Business Application Officer - Olympic (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

BUSINESS APPLICATION OFFICER - OLYMPIC (CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

WITHIN THE IT DEPARTMENT, BUSINESS APPLICATIONS TEAM, YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO ACT AS THE OLYMPIC BUSINESS REFERENCE TO HELP MAINTAIN AND SUPPORT OUR CORE BANKING APPLICATION.

IN THIS CONTEXT, TYPICAL TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

- Provide support to users, from issues solving to users training
- Contribute to business applications implementation projects
- Manage the Olympic business related operations
- Coordinate with software vendors: perform follow-up of requests, test and validate solutions delivered
- Document our knowledge of the systems, including user guides and procedures
- Liaise with the Triple'A analysts to help on investigations and requirements
- Over time, widen your knowledge of other system to act as a backup

REQUIREMENTS

- 3 to 5 years general experience in the domain of financial services, preferably private banking
- Minimum of 3 years of Olympic release F experience a MUST
- Good understanding of IT and related practices and processes
- Be flexible and a good team player with strong analytical skills
- Flexibility and personal commitment to achieving results are a must
- SQL
- English business fluent, ideally German-speaking

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Duration: until December 2015 (extension highly possible)
