Business and Benefits Analyst

Working for one of Queensland Governments key departments, you will be tasked with undertaking a broad ranging set of business imperatives to ensure the success of a major, portal based initiative.

You will combine your skills as a Business & Change analyst to ensure that technology, processes and people are aligned for this service offering.

Your main responsibilities for this role will be:

- Engaging with business stakeholders to review and analyse the essential business elements, including its intentions, services, processes and information needs
- Undertaking comprehensive as-is & to-be analysis tasks across multiple business units and develop all process models and documentation (BPMN)
- Assisting business change managers with defining, agreeing, monitoring, tracking and reporting the benefits to the business
- Developing key metrics to determine and measure potential benefits and their realisation
- Diligently identifying, analysing and seeking opportunities to solve key business challenges to ensure the success of the program
- Supporting senior management in ensuring that all plans, work packages and deliverables are aligned to the expected benefits

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A demonstrable cross section of business analysis and change management skills
- Considerable experience in working in large, multi-dimensional organisations with several stakeholders
- Excellent experience with Portal oriented services and all associated business and technology elements
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to show stewardship and accountability for critical deliverables
- Experience in structured business and change management methodologies
