BUSINESS ANALYSTS W/ASSET MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE (1466)
Our customer manages a wide array of balanced portfolios, currency mandates, structured portfolios, multi-manager and absolute return strategies, with several billion USD under management and advisory. The business services several hundred clients globally and employs close to a hundred staff members in several countries. For this customer we are looking for several
BUSINESS ANALYSTS W/ASSET MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE (1466)
To identify and document current business processes and business needs/requirements. The purpose is to assist in defining the future IT strategy, and identify any process and control improvements. You will liaise directly with business stakeholders and technology staff members.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITY WILL INCLUDE:
Obtain an understanding of the business and organization, and the scope of the initiative
Elicit current state (including business processes, systems and end-user application usage) and business requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis and workflow analysis
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and teams, recognize similarities, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding
Develop both high-level and detailed documentation in a meaningful and easily understandable format
Present findings, including recommendations on any process and control improvements, to business stakeholders, IT project managers and management
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT project managers and management to define and document the future IT strategy.
YOU MUST BE EQUIPPED WITH THE FOLLOWING:
5+ years of business analysis experience in Asset Management
Excellent knowledge of financial products including Equities, Bonds and Derivatives
Strong analytical skills
Strong documentation skills, including experience with tools such as MS Visio
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group - executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Must be able to work independently and deliver results by a deadline
Fluent in English, German an advantage
Highly desirable:
Post graduate qualification in finance such as a CFA, AZEK
