Business Analyst X 2

The Business Analysts will be the involvement in the trial, review, document changes, estimates, and support the development of the next phase ongoing systems implementations, this includes management of testing.

Key responsibilities:

- Drive and manage the process of gathering, agreeing and documenting the business, functional, data and technical requirements in a complex application environment
- Liaise with business representatives, both on and off the project team
- Produce quality project documentation in line with the organisations agreed Project Methodology
- Participate in the quality review process (as an author and reviewer) for project deliverables
- Involvement in testing of software deliverables
- Produce functional specifications through examination of existing system function, workshop facilitation and focus groups
- Provide direction to the development team on design and user requirements

Key skills and experience required:

- Extensive experience in providing business analyst support across the full software development life cycle from the gathering of requirements through to the demonstrated ability to organise and run workshops to collect functional change requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop functional specifications in (AGILE and waterfall)
- Previous experience with MICROSOFT .NET as a business Analyst is highly desirable
- Previous experience with testing built software is highly regarded
- Computer literacy with Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project is highly desirable
- Skilled in the use of HP Quality center for the management of software changes
- Knowledge of BABOK is highly desirable
- Knowledge of application architecture is high desirable
