BUSINESS ANALYST, WITHHOLDING TAX, GERMAN SPEAKING (12 MONTH CONTRACT, ZURICH)
For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced German speaking Business Analyst/Requirement Engineer with a software development background for a 12 month rolling contract in Zurich starting March/April 2016.
As the ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a business analyst or consulting in the financial services sector (5+ years experience)
- Solid background as a software engineering and knowledge of OO programming (ideally with Java)
- Profound knowledge of UML and use case modelling
- Experience dealing with on site and offshore development teams
- Strong banking-knowhow preferred
- Knowledge of FATCA, Transaction Tax, Final Withholding Tax or European Withholding Tax Project management experience is a considerable advantage
- Fluency in English and German
In your role as Senior Business Analyst/Requirement Engineer your responsibilities will incorporate solution architecture responsibilities as well. You will have the following responsibilities:
- Support business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the client who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future
- Understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view
- Obtain understanding of and commitment to requirements
- Develop, manage, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process
- As Solution Architect, analyze the requirements specification and designs technical solutions, taking into consideration the strategic roadmap of the domain, strategic goals of Client Tax, architecture standards and guidelines, economic efficiency, quality and feasibility within the project activities
- Accountable for the design and implementation of technical solutions and the documentation.
