For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer with experience as a system engineer or system administration for a new 6 month contract in Zurich starting ASAP with a strong potential for extension.
BUSINESS ANALYST/REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER WITH SYSTEM ENGINEERING/ADMINISTRATION EXPERIENCE, BANKING, ENGLISH ONLY (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
Key tasks include:
- Conduct service and business analysis and prepare recommendations including business cases how technology and operational optimization will lead to efficiencies.
- Working together with the various operations teams to analyse the currently provided services, perform interviews and workshops to understand the used technology.
- Work with the engineering teams to verify whether there are technical opportunities to make the services and processes more efficient.
- Create a detailed recommendation and business case for each of the opportunities.
- Work with architecture, IT-Risk and engineering to verify and validate the recommendations.
- Consolidate the validated information and prepare capture the results in a for senior management suitable form
- Work with the project team to prepare the project related reporting.
In order to be considered for this role you will bring the following skills/experience:
- Experienced business analyst in the banking sector
- Experience compiling business cases
- Solid background in system engineering and/or system administration
- Broad skill set with various technologies like Unix, Windows, Mainframe and Storage
- IT-Risk experience is an advantage
- Good ability to coordinate across teams
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
