Business Analyst with Solvency and actuary experience.
Square One Resources is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with solvency and actuary experience for a project in Sweden.
Description:
1 January 2016 comes with high probability a new regulatory framework in force for insurance companies in the EU. Acquis covers all operations and consists of both rules for the solvency capital requirement is calculated and the requirement that it must reflect operational risks but also the requirements in terms of control of the Company and internal functions. Finally, the new regulations increased demands on both public reporting and reporting to the regulatory authority compared to today.
The work involves working with Requirements Analysis, IT architecture, information modelling and information needs of systems, concepts and definitions. The candidate must have expertise in actuary in insurance, assurance and should be familiar with actuarial concepts and practices.
Practical experiences on the regulatory framework Solvency II is a prerequisite for success in this mission.
Duties:
The position involves the
Analyze the Authority's reporting requirements and devise practical requirements of data security and routines.
Identify information gaps and develop proposed solutions how to fix them including detailed file specifications, from source to report.
Opening able to discuss the proposed solutions along with actuaries and other experts in the level of detail
Qualifications required:
Experience and understanding of the financial industry's specific needs in analysis and reporting. Practical experiences on the regulatory framework Solvency II
competence in actuary in non-life and life insurance and be familiar with actuarial concepts and methods in non-life and life insurance
knowledge MySQL
Proven experience in requirements analysis (formal and agile)
Well developed ability to communicate with business and IT staff
Merit:
ABACUS reporting tools (XPO's and application)
Experience of LF and LF source system
Project duration: 6 months.
