Business Analyst (with Scientific Background)

For our client in BASEL we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST with strong scientific background for a 5-MONTH contract.

DURATION: 23/07/2018 TILL 31/12/2018

LOCATION: BASEL

WORKLOAD: 100%

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Support applications we manage in the manufacturing area
. Working following ITIL and CSV guidelines
. Define, run and document changes within the system
. The candidate will be in close collaboration with the Manufacturing IT team
. Gather, collect data and prepare reports

MUST HAVES:
. Degree in Informatics or Engineering
. +8 years of experience in the relevant area (business analysis with strong scientific background)
. Former working experience in a manufacturing or laboratory area (at least 5 years)
. Fluent English speaking is a must
. Required technology skills (hands-on experience): SQL, Spotfire, Java, Javascript, R, Python, Solr
. Experience in specifying and documenting of systems and applications
. Self-reliant, resilient, flexible and have a high service orientation
. Good technical understanding with good networked thinking
. Good communication skills

NICE TO HAVES:
+++ German speaking
+++ Experience in Pharma production or IT environment (GxP, CSV)
