Business Analyst (with Developer Skills)

An investment bank require a business analyst with SQL developer skills to work for the Client Data Confidentiality (CDC) adoption program. Analysis of client data requirements in IB applications as part of the CDC Strategic adoption program.

Key responsibilities will include identifying attributes in consuming applications, mapping them to existing attributes in the IB Enabling Architecture where they exist and highlighting gaps.

The role is part client data expert and part consultant facing off to the data owners in the IB and Wealth Management and to consuming applications teams which require Investment Bank client data both in the investment bank itself and from downstream systems in risk, finance and operations.

Job Requirements/Skills:
Understanding of the investment banking business with a focus on client touch points
Knowledge of client data requirements for key business process front-to-back
Must have SQL knowledge, as well as some experience in any DB environment: Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL
Ability to follow data flows and transformations through multiple systems to isolate the constituent parts
Knowledge of Lingua, FIX, FPML and other financial products and protocols a plus
Knowledge of data protection rules, especially concerning client data
Technical background and/or some development experiences required
Interested in becoming permanent.

Language: English is a must have/German is a nice to have
