For a project at our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for a very experienced
BUSINESS ANALYST W/EXTENSIVE MUREX KNOWHOW (2866)
Our client's Murex team based in Zurich is looking for a Senior Business Analyst.
THE ROLE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING KEY TASKS:
- A challenging and varied position for a business analyst with the desire to drive the analysis and testing aspects of a variety of Murex related projects
- In addition support new business functionality, eg Regulatory changes as LECH, Onboarding new Asset Classes and Central Clearing of trades, etc.
- Further tasks to implement additional instrument types, feeds and reconciliations in this space based on business needs and priorities
- The main objective of the team is the implementation and maintenance of the Murex platform within Operations IT - FX/OTC PB
- Close interaction with business stakeholders and various IT units (BPLs, ITPLs, Business Analysts, Operations, Technology and Infrastructure Teams etc.)
- Partnering with the business and IT stakeholders to analyze, document and validate the business and functional requirements
- Act as liaison between the business and technical teams to streamline conversion of functional requirements to technical specifications
- Build and validate test strategies, plans, test cases and test data to ensure results match functional requirements
- Coordinate with relevant IT teams to execute E2E test cycles
- Research functional defects and provide solutions
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- An University degree in a relevant discipline with 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
- Experience of Investment Banking preferably with a knowledge of all or some of the following is advantageous:
- OTC Derivatives and IRDs
- Middle Office Operations business processes
- Integration of MIS, DWH and other downstream systems
- Settlements, Payments and Financial Accounting
- Ability to network and collaborate with all levels of the business and IT organization, both internally and externally, to work effectively towards shared goals
- 5+ years of experience writing business requirements and functional specifications plus experience of working with the Murex application
- Fluent written and spoken English, German is advantageous
