Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST/ASSETS AND LIABILITIES for one of our major clients in the banking environment.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITY

- Subject matter expert in the area of assets and liabilities (ALM) and regulatory reporting (FINMA, PRA (prev FSA), FED)
- Build up know-how on business processes, business data and IT applications
- Identify and analyse business requirements (data sources, interfaces, business logic and quality) and work directly with user/business, project manager, IT developers and other business customer to understand business requirements, objectives and specifications
- Active involvement in solution finding within the project
- Support development team on design, logic, architecture and testing - including interfaces from source to target applications according to architectural standards
- Document business requirements and specifications as per firm standards
- Key contact for business and IT on data and process related questions/issues within regulatory reporting and Treasury applications, processes and strategies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- University degree or equivalent experience
- Multiple year of experience as IT Business Analyst/Engineer
- Multiple year of experience in Banking or Treasury world (data & process knowledge)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English-/German would be a plus)
- Able and used to analyse complex problems and identify potential solutions
- Experience in document requirements, specifications, etc.
- Public speaking and presentation
- Ability to develop relationships (customer/business/IT)
- Flexible, proactive and self motivated
- Delivery oriented
- Strong team player and ability to work in international and heterogeneous team
- Technical know-how of DWH environment (advantage)
