ROLE TITLE: Business Analyst, Transformation

LOCATION:  Stirling, Scotland

DURATION: 9 months

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Global Data Services (GDS) group is responsible for managing the acquisition, validation, maintenance and distribution of market reference and pricing data globally across multiple HSBC business entities.  The group has around 350 staff worldwide, with primary operations in 2 offshore sites (Bangalore, & Kuala Lumpur) and 2 onshore sites (Stirling & Hong Kong).

MAIN DUTIES:

THE ROLE feeds into a large Fund Migration project.

- Analysis of asset list at fund level
- Supply and demand analysis
- Collective investments pricing
- Manual pricing analysis and remediation
- Price comparisons

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience across a range of banking environments, such as trading, asset management, fund administration, treasury, prime brokerage and so on.
- Gap/overlap analysis
- Process analysis/design/test/implementation
- Change of Control
- Process inventory
- Risk analysis
- Transition planning and management
- Impact on processes
- Impact on Strategic Pricing Solution (requirements/delivery roadmap etc)
