BUSINESS ANALYST - TRANSACTION BANKING - TRAINING & COMMUNICATIONS - PEOPLE CHANGE

Purpose of the Programme
Commercial Banking Operations (CBO) Transactional Banking Transformation (TBT) programme has been established to support the wider Commercial TBT programme. The CBO programme will be required to understand the scope, goals, objectives and delivery plans of the wider programme. CBO will determine what changes are required internally, to support change being delivered by Commercial, and then design, develop, test and implement requisite changes to CBO and prepare colleagues for implementation and launch of these changes. Deploying the TBT communication and training strategy including understanding and supporting the colleague and customer journey across CBO are key deliverables for this role.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- Specifically this role is required to work across all workstreams within the TBT Programme to ensure that in each case the training needs are identified and plans are in place to address these, supported by individual colleague training passports. In addition the role will consider and plan for all customer impacts and identify the CBO colleague journey ensuring that communications across the programme are aligned and in plan, and will measure the success of the approach. The successful candidate will gain invaluable experience of contributing to a large scale business transformation programme:
- Develop and maintain effective working and influencing relationships with stakeholders and colleagues in own and other business units impacted by the programme.
- Work in a project team with cross stakeholder representation to deliver objectives.
- Quickly build and maintain a high level of knowledge on relevant systems, processes, and new developments appropriate to own projects.
- Analysis of Business Requirements in order to determine an assessment of Impact on business teams, working closely with the impacted BUs to ensure all aspects of training, comms, customer and colleague journey are planned for and managed.
- All project deliverables for work-stream to be completed on time and to high quality.
- Communicate change ensuring all those affected fully understand the benefits, nature and implications of such change.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all assigned activities.

CORE SKILLS

- Experience in a project environment and of end to end Project/Stage Delivery
- Ideally experience across the full project life cycle, specifically from a training and communication perspective
- Experience of managing and reporting project risks and issues
- Flexible worker able to meet deadlines at short notice
- Ability to work on initiative and take ownership of deliverables
- Excellent organisational skills and good time management skills
- Flexible team player with positive 'can do' attitude and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills - ability to communicate without project and programme jargon when required
