Corporate Banking Business Analyst

My client are a leading banking institution who require several business analysts for a technology project supporting Trade and Debt Finance products to join their London operations.

As a leading BA your main duties will be -
* You responsibilities as a Business Analyst will be split between Business Analysis, Solutions Delivery and Strategy Development
* Work with the business to build the domain expertise and challenge business and functional requirements
* Co-ordinate and facilitate requirements gathering workshops
* Document business, functional and non-functional requirements, model business process and manage acceptance/signoff process
* Analyse existing data structures and assist with development of logical and physical data models
* Provide expertise and detailed understanding of corporate banking products and practical approaches to implementing integrated solutions
* Work closely with Solution Architect and understand the overarching Technology Strategy
* Support conceptual technical solutions, drawing upon expertise within the team and working closely with the Solutions Architect
* Manage end-to-end delivery of sub-workstreams, drawing on Project Management skills to manage multi-discipline implementation teams
* Provide expertise and continuity across both the business solution and technical solution
* Understand current IT developments, industry direction and have a broad knowledge of IT and an excellent understanding of how technology impacts business
* Act as subject matter expert for development and test team throughout entire project lifecycle
* Assist in refining the technology strategy aligning to business strategy
* Influence the relevant business strategy to maximize the effective use of technology

To be considered for this excellent Business Analyst role you will need to have the following -
* Delivery focussed
* Business facing skills
* Strong Business Analysis skills (requirements gathering, requirements definition, documentation)
* Self-direction and the ability to manage and lead teams of Business Analysts
* Strong Stakeholder management experience
* Strong UI design and prototyping experience
* Strong data analysis and modelling experience, including SQL and databases
* Knowledge modelling techniques, including UML
* Understanding of technology
* Problem solving skills
* Experience managing solution delivery, but not necessarily from a pure Project Management perspective
* Qualifications business analysis discipline, i.e. ISEB, IIBA etc.
* Exposure to Agile / LEAN approaches
* Trade Finance and Debt product experience in a Corporate / Wholesale Bank

The Business Analyst must be logical, structured in their thinking and approach and have good time management as user time needs to well managed.
