Business Analyst/Tester (Financial Regulation)

The contract is with a consultancy to be on an assignment at a European Site in Paris as follows:- Tasks and Responsibilities

- Draft and update functional specifications
- Draft and update test plan and test specification
- Test internally according to business specifications etc.

Education and qualifications:

- University degree (BSc) in computer science, computer engineering or business administration or proven ability to perform the tasks commensurate with such a formal academic qualification
- Professional training or certificate related to testing is an asset             

Knowledge and skills:

Essential requirements:

- Very good command of English with proven drafting ability;
- Knowledge and experience in both functional analysis/specification and testing complex IT system is mandatory for both BAs;
- Analytical skills and a pragmatic problem-solving orientation;
- Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practice (such as ITIL)
- Excellent knowledge in using Microsoft applications, including: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.
- Knowledge in XML documents and XSD schemes
- Strong interpersonal skills: customer orientation, self-motivation, the ability to work in a small team, multitasking, clear and precise communication
- Experience in using JIRA or a defect tracking tool
- Excellent presentation skills for at least one of the two BAs

Advantageous requirements:

- Experience in project aiming at collecting high volume of data
- Experience in co-ordinating several business users teams, data providers and external IT provider in a complex multinational and administrative environment
- Knowledge in Regulatory financial environment
- Knowledge in asset management
