Business Analyst (Teleco)

- Work  closely with the Business Owner to produce a Business Requirements document and throughout project life cycle
- Engage with business stakeholders to capture, document and achieve sign-off on business & functional requirements

CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIER AND THIRD PARTIES

- Provide clarification and support to our outsourcing partner and other vendors on functional and non-functional requirements and use cases

LEADERSHIP AND TEAMWORK

- Work with key business stakeholders to define and document business requirements
- Work with the project team, business and technology stakeholders to define and document business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to define and document business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Assist in resolution of issues and actions relating to project requirements
- Develop and manage plan of activities for requirements capture, use case definition and requirements & use case signoff
- Work with project manager and other project team members to ensure successful delivery of project objectives

BUSINESS ANALYSIS

- Elicit, capture, analyse and document business requirements to define the project scope
- Elicit, capture, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements, to fully realise the project scope
- Translate requirements into use cases and activity flow diagrams
- Coordinate review and sign-off of requirements and use case documentation as per agreed project schedule
- Create requirements traceability Matrix (RTM) and maintain throughout project life cycle
- Update RTM to reflect requirements mapping to design and test documentation
- Review & sign off System Integration Test (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) documentation created by Test teams, when necessary
- Complete Function Point Analysis where appropriate
- Participate in the Function Point Analysis annual audit with technical vendors. Analyse and manage any discrepancies
- Review project change requests and manage updates to requirements, use case documentation, and requirements traceability Matrix as per change control process throughout project life cycle
- Ensure all deliverables are delivered in accordance with project schedule and gating target dates, adhering to BA Team quality standards
- Provide support to project manager, architects, developers, testers and business stakeholders throughout project life cycle

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

- Ensure adherence to standards and templates
- Draw on business analysis expertise and experience to drive process improvements and shape business analysis and project delivery policies
- Bring knowledge of systems and business processes into requirements analysis activities

COMMUNICATION

- Report progress of business analyst activities with timely escalation of issues to the Project Manager and BA Manager
- Persistent engagement with business stakeholders to ensure full understanding and clarity of all business requirements
- Persistent engagement with technical stakeholders and vendors to ensure full understanding, feasibility and clarity of all technical requirements and deliverables
