Business Analyst Technical & Process - 3 + 3 Months - Brisbane CBD

BUSINESS ANALYST

Seeking a Business Analyst with sound experience in applications development environments, keen to work in a highly dynamic and skilled team environment on a project focussed on a manual to electronic process transition.

THE PRIMARY DUTIES OF THIS ROLE ARE:

- Work with the business areas to determine business and functional requirements
- Work with the Solutions Architect to determine impacts on systems and potential timeframes
- Develop detailed business requirements, functional and technical specifications
- Work with the project manager to ensure systems can be delivered according to tight project timelines

SELECTION CRITERIA

- Proven (5 years +) IT Business Analysis experience, predominantly in applications development/delivery
- Experience in digitising existing processes and creating process improvement
- Well developed stakeholder liaison skills, communication and documentation skills
- Experience in analysing business needs to develop functional specifications, use cases, data models, specifications, test plans and test scripts
- Knowledge of web technologies and software development life cycle
